MS Windows Xp & Ubuntu 5.10 reinstallation on same HDD
- This step is for users that have installed Windows Xp and Ubuntu
5.10 with this guide and now would like to reinstall Windows Xp or
Ubuntu 5.10.
MS Windows Xp reinstallation
- Set your BIOS configuration to boot from CDROM, insert Windows Xp installation CD into your CDROM drive and reboot your pc.
- Start your Windows Xp installation and do the partitioning step like shots below.
- Press Enter to continue installation when you see this shot.
- Go on drive C like below shot and press D to delete the C drive.
- To confirm drive C deletion press L here.
- Go on Unpartitioned space like below shot and press C to create C drive again.
- Press Enter when you see this shot.

- Press Enter when you see this shot.

- Again press Enter to continue.
- In the next step continue your installation with formatting your
drive C with FAT or NTFS partitioning formats as you wish, and
finish Windows Xp installation steps. Here I've formatted drive C
with
NTFS file system.
- Do Graphical Boot Management using GAG step again.
Ubuntu 5.10 reinstallation
- Set your BIOS configuration to boot your pc from CDROM, then
insert the Ubuntu 5.10 installation disc in CDROM and reboot your pc.
Start your Ubuntu 5.10 installation steps.
- Do the Partition disks step like below shots.
- Continue Ubuntu 5.10 installation steps.
- Do Graphical Boot Management using GAG step again.
